Saturday night we went to Aubrey's cousin's 1st bday party...Ida...or as they call her "Idy". Aubrey was sort of a walking zombie b/c she normally goes to bed at 7, and the party started at 7. But she was fine. About 9 or so she was ready to give up. She was asleep before we got to the end of the driveway. She took like a 4 hour nap on Saturday so I think that is how she lasted past 7. Aubrey has started talking a whole lot this past week. You can only make out a few words, but she is sure saying something.
In the pic here, was on Sat. morning. We did a little shopping and had to stop at Kroger. Her and Sera had a good time riding in the cart. Aubrey had never rode in a cart like that.
In these pics you can see the mess that one little child can create in a short amount of time. Some of it was left from the night before...New Years Eve when Will, Emma and Aubrey had their own little party with the toys. We grilled out and had my sister, the kids, mama and daddy, my grandmother and my brother and Kayla over. I don't think any of us lasted until midnight though!
Here we have our last Christmas gathering...it was last Sat. night with the Bernard side. The kids had a good time. They all acted really good. We just had them locked up in the den where they couldn't get into too much.
These are some of Aubrey's "riding" toys that she got for Christmas. She loves them. She will go from one to the next one. The past week or so we have had to put her in the bed with us a couple of night b/c she wouldn't sleep. I really don't think anything was wrong with her, she just wanted to get in the bed with us. Well, every night for the past week she has started waking up and just crying and crying. The past 2 nights we have just let her cry b/c I don't want her to get in the habit of sleeping with us. Last night she only cried about 15 minutes thankfully. I hate listening to her cry!
