Gearing up for Kaylee's first ever birthday party..

So...it is soo much easier going to the grocery store when they have the carts with the car on front...since BOTH girls enjoy riding in it. I can get my groceries in peace...the only thing is...I am not very good at driving these big heavy carts...but I will do what I need to do to make the girls happy...b/c when they are happy things go a lot smoother...lol.

Here is Kaylee at her 1 yr. checkup. She had to get 2 shots, but did just fine. She really is tough when it comes to her shots. She cries for about 15 sec. and she is done and ready to get out of there. Everything checked out fine. She is healthy as can be...and we are so thankful for that!

Kaylee enjoyed her cake a little more than Aubrey did on her 1st bday...but Kaylee enjoys food way more than Aubrey ever has...still to this day.

Just a little help blowing out the candle from her big sis...which doesn't look like Kaylee is liking that from the expression on her face.

Taking a look at her cards she got in the mail...

We are planning on having Kaylee Jo's party on Sat. I am so glad the weather is suppose to be nice. The only bad thing about having your bday in the winter is...your nice big family has to fit inside your house...we are thankful for all our little kids in the family...and thankful they all get a long very well =)

Kaylee Jo 1 year pics (1 of them)

This is part of her 1 year pics =)

Happy 1st Birthday Kaylee Jo!!

I know I haven't been on here in a longgg time...and shame on me...but I am going to try and get back to blogging. There is not a lot of spare time these days...my birthday girl requires more time than Aubrey ever did...but thank goodness my girls are finally figuring out that is ok and fun to play with each other now and they like to entertain each other. Aubrey is a very good big sister. So I am going to try and make an attempt to update atleast once a week. And what better day to start then on Kaylee Jo's bday. Her party will be next weekend so tonight we are just going to have a mini party at home with her and her favorite food is in the crock pot cooking now...roast...well we like the roast...and she likes the carrots and potatoes in it and also so brown beans =) There isn't much that she doesn't like!!

So....HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAYLEE JO...you are a great addition to our family!!!

Hope all you mother's had a nice Mother's Day

This pic was taken during church on Sunday and was my most favorite gift =) She also made me a card and cut out clippings and make a collage of things/toys she liked at daycare. (Along with a pedicure). Was a busy day...but worth it all.

It's been AWHILE!! Sorry =)

So, obviously we have been busy the past few months since Kaylee Jo has arrived. She has proven to be a lot different than Aubrey so far. She is finally sleeping in her crib...after 2 longggg months on the couch. But she must sleep on Brent's worn out comforter from about 20 yrs. ago I think. So that is in her bed covering her pretty sheets and beautiful bumper pad that mom made for her bed =) But she does sleep through the night. Goes to bed around 8:30 and get up between 4 and 5. But at first, I didn't think the child knew how to sleep. She likes to cry more than Aubrey ever did and she is alot "healthier" than Aubrey...and what I mean by that is chunkier =) Therefore her nickname is "Chunky" to go along with Aubrey's nickname "Stinky". Poor girls!

This pic is from Easter...mom had a great idea of putting her in a basket full of Easter eggs...which I think turned out cute!

Here...are is showing off what the Easter Bunny brought her early...she loves her guitar and got a microphone also later on from the Easter Bunny.

Aubrey is a very good BIG SISTER! She is a big help on running and getting me things and sticking the pacifier in Kaylee's mouth when she is crying. And is very protective of her. And if me and Aubrey go somewhere and don't take Kaylee before we make it back home Aubrey has already asked where he sister is.

Is this pic you can tell what chunk Kaylee is...look at those jaws! Just want to squeeze them right now!

Snoozing in mommy's lap while she takes a pic with her phone!

Aubrey was very busy that day...sunglasses, baby, carseat, phone and nowhere to go...

In this pic, she was at the office with me...2 months old that day and going to her checkup later on. She weighed 12 lbs. 4 oz. and was 21 in. long. Healthy Healthy =)

Not much going on...just work, home, sleep. We have a routine worked and that good for us. Aubrey is using the potty...very few accidents. She only wears a pull up at night. That saves us on diapers! Things are going good. I will try to post more often now. I have lots of pics to put on here from the past few months...maybe I will get them on here gradually =)

Kaylee Jo Dorris

Kaylee Jo was born Feb. 24 at 10:17 am. She weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21 in. long. Below is a pic of Aubrey when she was born. I think they look alike...but Kaylee is beginning to look more like me...I think. I have lots more pics to post, but I will post when I have more time.

Here is the pic of Kaylee Jo

Almost Baby Time...

So, tomorrow is my due date...I have had some contractions maybe in the last day or 2 but not many. I didn't do anything with Aubrey until all at once, so I am thinking maybe this is how it is going to be this time around too. If I don't go by Mon. then I have to be at the hospital Monday night at 11:30 and they will start the induction process at midnight and hopefully we will have a baby maybe by lunch on Tuesday.

Nothing much else going on here. I am home from work this week and trying to get things in order.

I will post probably again after the baby gets here.
