Time to blog :)

Not much to report. Our whole house has been sick with a cold for the past week almost. Coughing, sneezing, runny nose. Brent and I got it about the same day and then Aubrey started it a few days later. So we are just trying to get over this. Aubrey is talking so much and likes to hold her medicine in the little cup when I give it to her. She will say "I hold it" and will not take it unless I let her hold it. Which is good...as long as she will take it. She has started saying "Thank you" and "you're welcome" at the appropriate times. And she can name everyone at the Daycare. I am so thankful for the daycare b/c I know this is where she learns so much :)

The pictures below are from the Sat. night before Father's Day. We went to Lebanon to Al and Cissy's and the kids had the best time playing outside. First time Aubrey had ever seen a lightning bug and when she couldn't catch it she would say "aw man" just like they do on Dora :)
She was worn out at the end of the night.

As you can see, the snotty nose has already started in this pic...we have almost gotten rid of it now though. Maybe by the weekend we will all be better. For Father's Day, Aubrey got her daddy a nice plaque to hang up in the house that says "We interrupt this marriage for deer season" which is so true :) And some of his favorite candy and then one of his favorite pics of Aubrey in one of his tobacco fields framed. We went to my daddy and mama's on Sunday night to celebrate. Cooked for Brent and my dad meat loaf, mash potatoes, chicken -n- dumplins, corn, brown beans, mac. -n-cheese, turnip greens, green beans, carrots, potatoes, yellow cake and choc. icing for daddy and then an apple pie for Brent.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend. We are going to a puppet show tonight at church and just try to relax this weekend and get to feelin' better :)
